Can you tell we are more focused on quilting than blogging?!!  It is shameful that we haven't posted since November. We are going to attempt to remember to post information and pictures here (no promises)! 

It’s been an exciting winter and spring! Since The Quilt Shop in Ballinger opened for business last fall, we have held about 10 classes on everything from beginning quilter classes to fabric bowls and tissue paper flowers (yes, we are crafters, too!). We have a great time in class and always learn something new. For more information on upcoming classes, give us a call or better yet, stop by and see us.

Moonlight Madness

Ballinger's annual Moonlight Madness will be on Tuesday, Nov. 20th. Come see the great shops downtown Ballinger has to offer.  The Quilt Shop will be open from 9am to 9pm that day so you can get a jump start on your Christmas shopping!

And don't miss our first SALE at the Quilt Shop on Saturday, Nov. 24th!!

With so much going on, November is a great time to come visit us!

Off to market...

The Quilt Shop was closed while we were away and we missed seeing you this past weekend. We couldn't wait to get to market in Houston...and then we couldn't wait to get home! We are back and the shop has resumed its regular hours open Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00am - 6:00pm.

We bought some great fabrics that should arrive BEFORE Christmas, picked up patterns, and purchased gadgets while soaking up everything we could surrounded by rows of beautiful quilts! These photos will give you an idea of how huge the market was...

Here at the Quilt Shop, classes have begun! There are still openings left in the 'Kids on the Bed' class if you want to join us. We do have lots of fun and we'd love for you to be a part of it!

Another beginner's class is already filling up. Lisa takes all the fear out of tackling various quilting techniques - you will love her! Come see us (and our new fabrics) soon!

It's already October!

We've been busy in Ballinger, and we are so glad you've come to visit us since opening our doors. If you are like us, you are scurrying to start and finish your holiday projects before December gets here.  We have good news - even more fabrics are on their way!!  Here are a few of the latest additions...

The doors are open!

Our opening weekend was phenomenal and we are so grateful to have shared it with you!  We are excited to open our doors and we hope you'll come back and visit us again soon. When you are in our area be sure you visit Bee's Quilting and Gifts in Winters and Sew Affordable Fabrics in Ballinger, also.
